I was drawn to meditation while studying Psychology at UC Berkeley. A decade later, and pregnant with my third child, I added yoga to my wellness program.  That was in 2000, and I have continued to study and practice many aspects of yoga: its movement, philosophy and history.

I taught elementary school for 30 years, and my love of teaching and guiding students naturally led to a desire to share yoga with others.

Using the principles of yoga, I have learned to cope with and heal injuries, manage mental health issues, and maintain a contented state of wellness for myself, and shared this wisdom as a yoga teacher and therapist since 2007. I have particular interest in cultivating health and wellness, balance issues and healthy aging, women’s health, mental health support, and using yoga to support one’s faith.
